Rishabh Pant Setting Field for Bangladesh and Smashing a Century in Chennai Test

Rishabh Pant Setting Field for Bangladesh : Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has gone viral on Social Media through a Video where he is setting Field of Bangladesh. This incident happened on the third day of 1st Test Match which is being Played between India and Bangladesh in Chennai at MA Chidambaram Stadium. At the end of the third day’s play, Bangladesh’s score was 158/4. Chasing a target of 515 runs set by India, they still need 357 more runs to win, while the Indian team needs to take six more wickets.

Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill resumed India’s innings on the overnight score of 81/3 and took the team’s past 400 when they were batting together. Gill and Pant were building a strong partnership. The opposing bowlers were trying hard to break this partnership. Amidst all this, Pant’s humorous side came to light. Due to the left and right hand combination at the crease, the Bangladesh’s captain Najmul Shanto was struggling to set the field properly. He left the midwicket area completely vacant. Then, Pant helped Bangladesh set up fielding for his own batting. Between overs, Pant was heard on the stump mic saying “one fielder here” pointing in the direction of mid-wicket.

The funny part was that the Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto actually took Pant’s advice and placed a fielder at midwicket. However, this strategy didn’t work much for the opposing team. This funny moment has been widely shared on social media, with users flooding the comments with their reactions.
