Riyan Parag bowls shocking no-ball to leave everyone stunned during 2nd T20I vs Bangladesh

Riyan Parag unique Bowling Action against Bangladesh in 2nd T20I: India secured a brilliant victory in the second T20 match against Bangladesh, clinching the three-match series in the process. Batting first, Team India posted a massive total of 221 runs, thanks to half-centuries from Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy. In response, Bangladesh could only manage 135 runs. But a really interested incident happened when Indian all-rounder Riyan Parag bowled an unusual no-ball at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. The incident happened in the 11th over when Parag delivered a flatter ball from a wide angle outside the crease to Mahmudullah, who missed the ball.

However, Parag’s unique bowling action caught the umpire’s attention, leading to a review. Replays showed that Parag’s back foot had stepped outside the playing area, resulting in the delivery being called a no-ball.

Despite this, Parag managed to take a wicket on the last ball of the over, dismissing Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was caught by Ravi Bishnoi at deep extra cover.

Earlier Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field first, which initially worked in their favor as they dismissed India’s top three batsmen quickly. Sanju Samson was dismissed for 10, Abhishek Sharma for 15, and Suryakumar Yadav for just 8 runs. However, the middle order stabilized the innings, with Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy playing crucial half-centuries.

Nitish Kumar Reddy played an outstanding knock, scoring 74 runs off 34 balls, which included 7 sixes and 4 fours. Rinku Singh, on the other hand, contributed with a solid 53 off 27 balls. He reached his half-century by hitting a six but couldn’t add any more runs after that. His innings featured 3 sixes and 5 fours.

Chasing India’s formidable target of 222, Bangladesh’s batting lineup struggled against India’s bowlers, losing wickets regularly. Apart from Mahmudullah, no other Bangladesh’s batter could score more than 20 runs. Mahmudullah top-scored for Bangladesh with 41 runs, while captain Najmul Hossain Shanto managed only 11 from 7 balls, Litton Das made 14, Parvez Hossain Emon added 16, and Towhid Hridoy could only score 2 runs.

India’s bowlers consistently put pressure on Bangladesh, ensuring a comfortable 87-run win and sealing the T20 series.
