After missing the first ball, he sent the next five over the boundary, completing his century in 40 balls. He was caught by Mehedi Hasan Miraz off Mustafizur Rahman’s bowling. Sanju Samson smashed fourth fastest Century in T20Is
With this innings, Samson became the fourth-fastest batsman to score a century in T20I. South Africa’s David Miller and India’s Rohit Sharma holds the record of fastest Centuries in T20 Internationals. David Miller achieved this record by scoring century in just 35 balls against Bangladesh in 2017. While Rohit Sharma smashed a 35-ball century against Sri Lanka in Indore in 2017.
